Dealing with Injury: Part 1

April 21, 2018

We asked our friends at Functional Spine and Sport to help us educate people on common baseball injuries, how to identify them, and what to do when they occur. They have partnered with us to give you a three-part series.

Message from Functional Spine and Sport:

In this three-part video series our doctors will cover the 3 most commonly injured body regions, three at-home tests to for you to measure your function, and action steps on what to do if/when an injury occurs.

Part 1: Shoulder Health

Seth Schultz, DC

Seth Schultz completed his undergraduate studies at Lewis University, where he was a member of both the Cross Country and Track teams. He initially planned to study finance and accounting, being a collegiate athlete, and always interested in various injuries, his focus was quickly redirected to anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. While at Lewis University, he also sat as Vice-President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee during the ’09-’10 academic year.

Dr. Seth Schultz went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in February 2015. While at the Palmer Clinics he was chosen as a clinical teaching assistant during his final term. Dr. Schultz believes that continuing to educate yourself should never cease. He has focused his post-graduate studies on becoming a full body certified Integrative Diagnosis® (ID) provider.  ID is the premier system for the diagnosis and conservative treatment of soft-tissue injuries. Dr. Schultz is continually refining his skill-set to provide the best care possible to each of his patients. This is done through extensive training that consist of attending hands on seminars and studying online content to ensure the highest level of certification possible.
